Welcome!
This letter will be a bit philosophical, at least this is how society will categorize it.
Philosophical, but at the same time entirely practical.
In the beginning sincerity and clarity.
All things start with pure and sincere desire.
Desire to break the endless chases and arrive at freedom and peace.
Clear understanding
Everything starts with understanding. But in order to understand, one should be in a position in which understanding it’s possible.
To put your odds in your favor, it’s critical to understand that the environment in which man operates has a significant impact on how and what a man thinks. People around you should be selected very carefully. The information that a man reads or hears should be very carefully analyzed and filtered. Remove any nonsense, and stop chasing media narratives or discussions about things that do not take you anywhere.
Expose yourself to sincere and serious individuals. The information that one consumes should be deep and limited. More thinking, not more consuming. If you spend more time thinking, and not consuming, the side effect will be that the consumption process will be very selective. Remove preconceived notions like “speed reading”, “one book a week” or such nonsense ideas. Silence is much preferable to stupid books or videos.
One should start by removing all the bullshit. In this process, the man will have multiple understandings. Upon these understandings, a new framework will be built.
Value your time.
Freedom
I will define freedom, as freedom from the mind, in other words, freedom from distractions and endless chases.
Freedom is not additive.
Any freedom that leads to the desire for more freedom is not freedom.
Pleasure is not good or bad. But if one chases it, the attention is on the future reward. Basically, you replace freedom with endless pleasure chasing.
Freedom is not based on circumstances. A fool thinks that freedom it’s a place with “cool“ furniture, “cool“ TVs, “cool“ phones, ”cool” cars, and “cool“ fridges… when will this end? exactly.
To be very clear, I’m not saying that one should live in a cave, I’m just saying that dependency on external things only leads to more dependencies and frustration.
Be in society but live above it.
The truth is that freedom it’s not external, stop chasing it.
It’s internal. In the absence of chasing and attachment. Freedom.
Freedom does not create problems.
Freedom is the foundation upon which clear decision-making is built.
Be well.
